When you leave shebeen
The country's largest ski resort, fine dining nearby--and now, 18 holes. It's all right out the door. With Vail's recent merging of Park City Mountain Resort with Canyons, Shebeen is now ski-in/ski-out to the largest ski resort in the US. And while Utah's "Greatest Snow On Earth" claim is a bold statement, nobody's arguing. Need more? Deer Valley is a quick (and free) bus ride up the road, as is the nightlife of Park City's Historic Main Street. |
Ski-in, Ski-out, Repeat
"Ski-in/Ski-out" is one of our favorite phrases. There's no overestimating the value of never having to get in the car and haul your equipment to the slopes. The Timbers neighborhood has its own private grooming for the trail in and out. Getting on snow simply means walking out the door of Shebeen's ample, ski locker room, putting on your skis, and skiing over to Canyon's Sunrise lift.

Golf, anyone?
Featuring over 1,000 feet of elevation gain and spectacular mountain views, the Canyons Village Golf Course was created by award-winning golf-course designer, Gene Bates. It has 18 challenging holes, and dramatic views in every direction. The first tee is at the Canyons Resort base area, a quick drive from Tigh Shebeen. Also, the Wasatch Back is home to enough golf courses that you'll likely need a return visit to play them all.
Hungry? The Village Provides
You could never leave the Canyons Village without being fully sated. From award-winning casual dining, to mountain elegant, to dining with a view of the world--Canyons has become a world-class dining destination even for people who never hit the slopes.
